Facilitators Needed for SHPE's New Graduate Program - Honorarium Available
SHPE is developing a NEW program for graduate students that is piloting in just a few weeks! We are inviting associate and full professors, as well as teaching professors, adjuncts, or professionals with a graduate or advanced degree to serve as a GRADS (GR aduate & A dvanced D egree S tudents ) Mentoring Group (GMG) facilitator . What GMG facilitators will do: Group facilitators guide group discussions with 5-8 GRADS. We anticipate a time commitment of 10 hours over a period of approximately 2 months (please note these dates are tentative and might shift slightly depending on recruitment efforts): One hour orientation meeting – Second week of February One hour kick off meeting – February 21 st , 2022 At least 6 one-hour meetings with group – Period of March 1 st to April 15 th , 2022 One hour closing meeting – April 18 th , 2022 One hour debrief at the end of the program – Last week of April What GMG facilitators receive: SHPE will offer ongoing s...
